Mukesh is synonymous with laughter. Big, infectious, full-faced laughs. That appears on her face even when there’s no electricity in her home and not much to eat. It stayed even when she was beaten badly by bullies. With injuries to her skull, she still managed to ride through it all and bury the pain in a smile.
