Akshay is an extremely responsible young man, carrying on his shoulders the responsibility of providing for his family, because his father died when he was very young. He takes this in his stride and carries within him the burning desire to change his world. It is this fire to improve his own life and of those around him that made him pitch in at Sarfaroshi’s health camps even when they were held in villages outside his own. As long as he gets to make a difference, there are no boundaries between `theirs’ and `his’ in Akshay’s mind.
