We started Sarfaroshi in the middle of the world-wide COVID pandemic. People were falling sick all around us. The country was locked down. Food was scarce. So, we started with emergency relief in April 2020. 

We provided basic food rations and toiletries to two sets of people we had an association with. These were people in the village Nala and the Dehwa community colony in Shamli city. In all, we reached out to 1,238 people of various religions and communities.
