Revolutionary be equal part evolutionary. <\/span>Sarfaroshi is the practical magic we need to erase differences<\/b> and build a world of people that learn to live with each other<\/b>. Building such a fraternity is tough but we believe it\u2019s possible. Where we normally find doors shut in our faces, they\u2019re wrenched open because of the power of many, of a people speaking together. <\/span>[\/vc_column_text]

This collective is what Sarfaroshi is about. It\u2019s what we build, it\u2019s who we are.<\/b><\/div><\/div>[vc_column_text]Equity and equality are words enshrined in the preamble of our constitution but on ground, they\u2019re the hardest to achieve. Believing is everything and it requires a revolutionary spirit.\u00a0<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”569″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”]

We derive our strength from the spark that was ignited by India\u2019s revolutionary fighters, like Bhagat Singh<\/strong>. The young fire-brand gave up his life at the age of 23 because he believed in an India where all religions, castes, differences could be erased<\/strong>. We don\u2019t need to give up our lives but we could use a heavy dose of inspiration from Sarfaroshis like him.\u00a0<\/span><\/div><\/div>[vc_single_image image=”1131″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”]

How does the Sarfaroshi Foundation run?<\/h2><\/div><\/div>[vc_column_text]We are <\/span>a non-profit organisation based in the north Indian district of Shamli in Uttar Pradesh<\/b>. This is a tough district, where discrimination and fear are the norm and as a consequence people are very far away from being able to fight for their rights. It\u2019s also a world full of hope and people that are hungry for change.\u00a0<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]We are enabled in our work by the faith of the people of Shamli and of course by funders \u2013 both institutional as well as individuals who donate to us.
